The Order of Inquisitors
The Order was created shortly after the Queensfall and was charged with rooting out Dracinic royalists and worshipers of the Ennead. It did this to great affect, though it often came in conflict with the governing powers. The Order was based in Whitford, Kenrick, but was international and held seats of power in cities of various nations.As time passed and memories faded, the Order continued its work of uprooting any traces of the Dracinic Empire. When the archaeological school at Triun was proposed, the Order vehemently opposed it. Threats by Minsona to withdraw all funding changed the Order's mind, if reluctantly.
The Order keeps a sharp eye on TAU, almost as if they fear the scholars might do something crazy like try to find and revive a mythical creature.
Triun Archaeological University (TAU)
The university was established in the ruins of the city of Triun, which was destroyed during the Queensfall. The area already housed a military base due to the nearness of the border and the neutral zone. Thus the city has been partially rebuilt with all the urban necessities a military base desires (especially a bar and strip club). Some regular residents have even moved in, despite the danger of the area.
The school's focus is to teach excavators about the history of the Imperial Valley, how to survive in the wilderness of the Battlewastes, and to teach students how to be archaeologists.
