Professor James E. Deacon
Headmaster at Triun Archeological University (TAU); teaches history and basic archeology practices in addition to his administrative duties. In his late 30's, he has been teaching and excavating in the valley for twelve years. He is known as a hard grader, but gladly provides assistance for students requiring aide. It is an open secret that the professor enjoys a glass of gin in the evenings.
He stands at 6'6", with a slender frame (some might call it scarecrow-like), with a tanned complexion, short black hair, blue eyes, and a perpetual five o'clock shadow. Farsighted, he wears glasses to read and usually while teaching. Typically wears tweed suits, but dresses appropriately for excavation work.

Female human; early 50's; floor matron and defender of female integrity.
Letitia Vall
Female Human; early 20's; secretary and switchboard operator.
Sergeant John Benton
Commander of the small soldier unit at TAU as well as an instructor of gun use and self defense. He is a down-to-earth man who lost his father in the last war against Nystand. He has a mild belief in the supernatural, or at least that there are questions that science cannot answer. He answers to Captain Arcady of the Triun Garrison.
He stands at 6'0", average complexion, with brown hair in a military cut and brown eyes. He is usually in uniform and feels (and looks) out of place in civilian clothes. He almost always has his sidearm with him and is a consummate marksman.
Miss Natalie Rose
Business owner of the Red Rose Cabaret, the only gentleman's club in Triun. She is a ruthless businesswoman, but very protective of her "girls." It's rumored that she has contacts in the criminal world, including the black market for ancient artifacts.
She stands 5'6" in stocking feet, but is rarely found without her six-inch heels. She boasts a creamy complexion and red-gold hair, with bright green eyes. She only wears the best finery, when she wears anything at all.
